The weekend is but one day away now and I plan to celebrate the handing in of a bucketload of coursework with one big PARTY! Lots going on in Leeds this weekend but pick of the bunch is COGNOSCO down at The Loft on Friday (formely known as Northern Light) where Alex Niggeman is heading things up.
If you keep your ear to the ground then you may catch wind of the secret after party they are holding where yours truly and Sebastian Budniak will be kicking things off with a smattering of deep house and disco until the early hours of Saturday morning.
Then onto Saturday where there really is only choice - System @ The Mint. Jeff Mills maks a very rare appearance to the city playing on 3 decks 12-3am, then former Basics resident Paul Woolford takes over until the end (probably around 8am!) knocking out some house and techno on home soil for the first time since he left Basics a couple of years ago. Come say hello at the side bar if you happen to be around - I'm quite sure I will be glad to chat to some friendly faces after Friday's soiree!
